Riot Grrrl, The Crash, The Story, The Pictures... (Long)

It’s been a long time coming, but here it is!!!

Yikes… It’s hard to know where to start with this… I guess I just wanted to tell the story of what happened in the accident… I know I scared A LOT of people, near and far… and nobody knew if they should ask what happened, or how it happened, or what the extent of my injuries were. And at the time, those that did know what was going on weren’t sure how much they should say. I understand that, but I really wasn’t that sensitive about it.

All I can tell you is that I don’t remember what happened to cause the accident, and nobody saw what happened, so all we can do is speculate.

But first some happy snaps

… So to start off, here’s what was my beautiful bike… I loved this machine, it was a thrill to ride the first day, and more every day after that!

This picture was taken on the day of my first ride.

Honda Riders Club Trackday, mon Nov 26th

Motorcyclists,

If you're after a low stress and high reward track day with lots of track time and an opportunity to run a session on a new blade or 600rr, sign up asap via the following link:

Link

Bikes have to be road registered and roadworthy and all are made welcome, as long as you are there to have a bit of fun, not "win or crash" .

Unbelievably they are struggling to justify dragging a truck full off bikes to Sydney and hiring the Creek for our thrashing pleasure, as hardly anyone has bothered signing up.

My only interest is as a member trying to ensure a good thing is kept going.

Support the good people at HRCA, otherwise you'll be left with the only Eastern Creek option of paying more money for 15mins on, 1 hour off.

If you can't make it, please pass this onto a fellow rider who might.

Cheers

Outage recovery

Alrighty, The gallery is working again, I'll be restoring the old contents slowly. The Wiki is still busted for some reason.

Avatars should be back online this week, haven't even thought about fixing the themes yet.

And the Donation section is back, I think it's working properly, we'll find out once someone donates something

Well, we've had a nasty server outage with the disk failing on the server

At this stage we've lost the last 2 months or so of posts. I'm in the process of rebuilding everything, so much stuff is currently broken.

Honda Motorcycles in Sale

On our trip to the '07 WSBK, as usual, my Duke 851 mate had the inevitable electrical issues.... the Italians invented electricity and Ducati just didn't get it right.....and we were at a Honda Dealer....... I digress.....

Whilst we were assisted by a great group of fellow bikers at the servo in Sale, trailered to the Honda dealer, 'John Miller' (owner) at Honda Sale was the most obliging, helpful, friendly and 'service' minded bike dealer person I have ever met. Saved our trip, made our day, restored my tainted faith in factory dealerships....

John Miller (Sale Honda Motorcycles) - York Street, Sale, VIC. 3850. - 03 5143 0888

He deserves the plug more than most....

cheers....
